Available Produce
Available Produce List for 5-10 April 2010
Well, we’re very much in the official Hunger Gap(tm) — that time of year when the new crops aren’t quite up yet and the old ones are going to seed.
There are a few perennial champions and some unlikely heros that are carrying us through ’til next month when things really get hopping. Until then, we’ll be out there preping and planting every day to keep the good work and ourselves alive, Hunger Gap be damned.

Are all bolting like mad and have become “farmer food” — back w/ more in a few weeks.
As always, email Friday with questions about what’s going on at the farm collective — all 2/3 acre of it. Only your farmer knows what’s in peak condition.
Starting back up on 15 May 2010, you’ll also be able to get your SGC fix on Sundays at the Hawthorne Urban Farmers’ Market, from 1-6pm on the ‘thorne and 43rd — in the Auto Clinic lot, right next to new Common Grounds Coffeehouse. I’m always willing to barter for anything that strikes my rather practical fancy.
